This is our boat. "Hai Au Star". We were told to remember the name of our boat if we decided wander off while waiting to get on because there was no less than 800 boats docked waiting for passengers and they all pretty much looked alike. All the boats arrive at the dock about the same time - mid-morning to dump off passengers and scoop up more before setting off again around noon. It's like an ant's nest has been kicked. Staff and crew are scurrying around to meet a time schedule.

Behind the lady is our captain. To her right is the dinning car. Dock workers are busy hauling off empty containers, loading fuel and bringing on new supplies. Cabins are cleaned, sheets changed, food brought into the kitchen. It's an organized, well rehearsed mad house.

On each side of the lower level there are sleeping cabins. The top deck is for passengers to sun-bathing or sit in lounge chairs.
